Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the incident arose out of an illicit relationship that the victim was having with a lady.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the injury report of the victim and the materials in the case diary.

Considering the fact that the victim suffered grievous hurt and the materials in the case diary and considering the gravity

of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1914 of 2022 is dismissed.
