Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner is in custody for more than 3 years and prays for bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. Bail prayer of the petitioner was turned down by this Court on earlier occasions considering the material on record.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the examination of the investigating officer is fixed on 6th May, 2025.

Considering the material on record, the prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The learned trial Court is directed to take necessary steps to secure the attendance of the investigating officer on the next date and take the proceeding to its logical

conclusion as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. The application for bail is thus disposed of. Case diary be returned.
