Learned advocate for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submit that the case is at the stage of examination of the accused persons under section 313 of the Cr.P.C. Learned advocate added that the present petitioner was evading the process of law and after rejection of anticipatory surrendered on 28th January, 2026. I have considered that the case is at the advance stage and the subject-matter of the case relates to 6 kg 64

gm of heroine, as such, I am of the view that release of the petitioner may jeopardize the trial.

Having considered the same, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 624 of 2026 is dismissed. Report submitted be kept with the record.
