The writ petitioners complain that despite an order passed by the Civil Judge (Senior Division), 7th Court at Alipore directing enforcement of an order of ad interim injunction dated 29.11.2021, no steps have been taken.

Learned counsel for the State submits that on the complaint of the petitioner and having found prima facie case, FIR No. 183 of 2022 dated 20th April, 2022 under Sections 448/341/379/188/506/34 of the IPC has been registered. Investigation has been completed and the Charge Sheet No. 242 of 2022 dated 31st May, 2022 has been filed.

Subject to production of an order that the injunction passed by the Civil Court is subsisting as on date, Kashipur Police shall strictly enforce the order of injunction passed by the court below.

Let a detailed report be submitted by the Kashipur Police to the Civil Judge (Senior Division), 7th Court at Alipore in the pending suit.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
