REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 1038 of 2024 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Nakashipara Police Station Case No. 683 of 2023 dated 17.08.2023 under Sections 379/411/272/273 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and 7(1)(a)(ii) of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.

And In Re : Shribas Mondal @ Sribas ...... petitioner Mr. Snehansu Majumder ...for the petitioner Ms. Amita Gaur Mr. Debadrita Mondal .... For the State Petitioner before us is the owner of the truck, which was used for the purpose of transportation of adulterated coriander. Adulteration of foodstuff affects the health of the general public.

Enlarging the petitioner on anticipatory bail will be sending a wrong signal to the society.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

The application being CRM (A) 1038 of 2024 is dismissed.
