The writ petition has been filed alleging inaction by the authorities in processing the petitioner's application for compassionate appointment. The petitioner has not been able to satisfy the court whether any application in the prescribed form had been filed within the time stipulated in the policy for compassionate appointment framed by the State of West Bengal. Whether the documents necessary to be annexed to the application in the prescribed form, had been submitted, is also not on record.

Thus, the court is unable to pass any order directing the competent authority to act and proceed in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of without any orders.

However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
