The grievance of the petitioner is that on 10th January, 2018 a sum of Rs. 86,92,828/- has been paid by the Special Engineer, Salt Lake Reclamation and Development, Circle UD Department to the petitioner towards contract performed and supplies made. It is submitted that the balance of Rs. 7,49,389/- is still due and payable. The petitioner has been representing to the respondents from July, 2019 in this regard but in vain.

In that view of the matter the Special Engineer, Salt Lake Reclamation and Development, Circle UD Department, the respondent no. 3 herein, shall consider and dispose of the petitioners' representation after a personal hearing to the writ petitioner and/or his legal representative within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order. A reasoned order

may be passed and the same may be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof.

With the above observation this writ application is disposed of.
