1. Revisional applicant seeks quashing of CS/44717/21 pending beforethe learned 3rd Metropolitan Magistrate at Calcutta under Section 25 of the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007.

2. Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner makes over a demand draft for the amount involved in the case to the learned Advocate for the opposite party no.2 in Court.

3. Learned Advocate appearing for the opposite party no.2 submits that, there are other defaults for which other proceedings are pending as against the petitioner.

4. The present application relates to CS/44717/21. Since, the amount involved in such case is being paid through the demand draft made over in Court, such case is quashed.

5. I clarify that I did not enter into the merits of the matter.

6. The opposite party no.2 is at liberty to proceed with other criminal cases and the petitioner before me is at liberty to contest the same in accordance with law.

7. CRR 1615 of 2025 is disposed of.
