Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

Grievance of the petitioner is not registering FIR in spite of complaint lodged with the concerned police authority. 3.

Learned advocate representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 8th April, 2026 of Inspector-in-Charge, Domjur Police Station, Howrah City Police and same is taken on record. Copy of the said communication dated 8th April, 2026 is made over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner. 4.

It is disclosed in the said communication dated 8th April, 2026 that taking note of the complaint lodged by the petitioner FIR was registered being Domjur Police Station Case No.203 of 2026 dated 7th April, 2026 under certain provisions of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

Learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that due to registering of FIR, grievance of the petitioner is redressed.

No further order need be passed on this writ petition and writ petition stands disposed of.

However, concerned police authorities are directed to expedite the investigation.
