Ramjan Molla v. State Of West Bengal And ORS.
W.P.A. 7730 of 2025 Ramjan Molla.
VS The State of West Bengal & Ors.
Mr. Mujibar Ali Naskar, Mr. Sandip Kr. Mondal.
... for the Petitioner.
Mr. Ansar Mondal, Ld. AGP, Mr. Tanweer J. Mondal..
...for State.
Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner be kept 23.04.2025 Court No. 35 Item No.100 Rakib with the record.
Petitioner approached this Court being aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities as the representation which was made on 21.03.2025 was not acted upon.
State has submitted a report which reflects that Canning PS case no. 244/25 dated 09.04.2025 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of law and the investigation of the same is in progress. Further police authorities have already drawn up proceeding under Section 126 of the BNSS.
Having considered that the police authorities are in knowhow of the existing disputes and as such have taken specific steps, I am of the view that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. Police authorities would take the investigation to its logical conclusion and would also ensure that no untoward incident results because of the strained relationship
existing between the petitioner and the private respondents.
With the aforesaid observations WPA 7730 of 2025 is disposed of.
Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.
A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
