Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody for 318 days. The police filed charge sheet and, therefore, further detention of the petitioners is not required.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement of an eye-witness recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code. In her statement, the wife of the victim implicates the petitioners. She ascribed specific role to the petitioners. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

Prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected. CRM (DB) 1110 of 2022 is dismissed.
