Two notices dated March 17, 2021 and March 27, 2021 issued by the respondent no. 4 are under challenge made in the present writ petition.

By the two impugned notices, the railway authorities called upon the petitioner to vacate the land belonging to the railways. The railway authorities invoked Section 147 of the Railways Act, 1989. The petitioner claims that the petitioner was allowed to occupy the railway land by one Sunil Chandra Das Gupta. The petitioner is yet to establish any relationship between the petitioner and the railway authorities.

In the facts of the present case, I find no irregularity in the railway authorities invoking the provisions of Section 147 of the Railways Act, 1989.

I find no reason to interfere in the present writ petition.

WPA 8833 of 2021 along with CAN 1 of 2021 are disposed of accordingly.

All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
