The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited and others Md. Kutubuddin .... for the petitioner Mr. Debanjan Mukherji .... for the WBSEDCL Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in the meantime, the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) has raised a quotation, pursuant to which the petitioner has deposited the due amount for getting a new electricity connection to operate his submersible pump.

Such stand is corroborated by learned for the WBSEDCL.

Hence, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the present writ petition.

Accordingly, WPA No. 7897 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the WBSEDCL to effect the new electricity connection to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, positively within a fortnight from this date. There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
