Mr. Imran Ali Ms. Debjani Sahu ..for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits as follows. The petitioners are the father-in-law, the uncle-in-law and the mother-in-law of the alleged victim. They are not the main accused. The prime accused husband is absconding. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits as follows. Although a charge sheet has been submitted, the incident showing the petitioners are absconders, the incident allegedly happened within a one year of marriage. The petitioners forced acid into the mouth of the victim. She had to be treated in a hospital.

In view of the medical report and the statement of the victim available in the case diary, I do not find this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
