Dutta, Mr. Sabyasachi Bhattacharjee, Ms. Arpita Kundu, Advocates ... for the respondent No.8 in WPA(P) 183 of 2022 This order will govern the disposal of WPA(P) 179 of 2022 and WPA(P) 183 of 2022 as the issue involved in the petitions is common.

These petitions have been filed by the petitioners seeking a direction to the respondents to stop the "Baisakhi Mela" at the ground to the north of Prabhat Kumar College, Contai. The Mela is to be organised from 20.04.2022 to 03.06.2022.

Learned counsel for the State has also pointed out that the same issue was raised in WPA 6932 of 2022 and the writ petition was allowed directing the concerned respondent to grant permission for holding the mela and against that order an appeal was preferred before the Division Bench being MAT 615 of 2022 by the Chairman,

WPA(P) 179 & 183 of 2022 Contai Municipality, Purba Medinipur. He has produced a copy of the order dated 28.04.2022 whereby the appeal has been disposed of. A perusal of the said order it shows that all the relevant issues have already been examined by Coordinate Division Bench in relation to the right of the college to grant permission for holding the mela.

Having regard to the detailed order which has already passed by the Division Bench in MAT 615 of 2022, we find no merit in the petitions which are accordingly dismissed.
