Ms. Moulick, learned counsel appearing for the State submits that despite best efforts, the affidavit and the report on behalf of the State could not be produced.

Even across the bar, appropriate justification has not been shown for abandoning the panel dated January 30, 2023 for engagement to the post of 'KalaAzar Technical Supervisor', Purba Bardhaman.

In the above circumstances, it is presumed that the recruitment notification dated March 15, 2023 shall stand quashed and set aside. The persons empanelled under the recruitment notification dated July 22,

2022, shall be engaged within a period of one month from date.

The orders above are passed notwithstanding objection from the State Counsel.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

6.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this judgment, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities (Rajasekhar Mantha, J.)
