No. 29 KAUSHIK REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 1403 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Hogalberia Police Station Case No. 57 of 2023 dated 12.03.2023 under Sections 186/189/325/326/332/333/353/ 354 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

And In Re : Chumky Khatun Malitha @ Chumki Mondal ...... petitioner Ms. Minoti Gomes Mr. Asraf Mondal ....for the petitioner Mr. Saibal Bapuli Ms. Sayanti Santra ....for the State Police personnel were conducting a raid for the purpose of nabbing an accused when they were assaulted.

12 police personnel suffered injuries in the incident of assault.

Th petitioner stands implicated in the assault on the police personnel.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1403 of 2023 is dismissed.
