Petitioner apprehends that stern action would be taken by the learned CJM, Malda in view of the warrant of arrest already issued on 7th March 2024.

Having considered the fact that the petitioner was earlier on bail and because of miscommunication could not appear, as such, warrant of arrest was issued, I direct that if the petitioner appears before the learned CJM, Malda on or before 10th May, 2024, the learned CJM will allow the petitioner to continue on the same bail and bond after recalling the warrant of arrest so issued. In case the petitioner do not appear on or before 10th May, 2024, on the next working day, the learned CJM, Malda would be at liberty to resort to harsher process of law by adhering to Section 82 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 1256 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
