Hiralal Samanta The contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 29th January, 2004 passed in WP No. 16255 (W) of 2003. It appears that a Rule was issued against the alleged contemnor on 15th April, 2004. Subsequently by an order dated 23rd September, 2004 passed in MAT 1415 with MAT 1416 of 2004, the order being the subject matter of contempt was set aside and the writ petition was dismissed.

The matter appeared in the list on 15th July, 2021 and was called on twice, but no one appeared on behalf of the parties. The matter is appearing in the list today marked as "Last Chance" with a note in the list that appropriate orders will be passed if no one appears in the matter. Even today no one appears in the contempt petition. No one has applied for joining in the virtual mode.

It appears that the parties are not interested to proceed further with the contempt petition. The same is disposed of without any further order.

Rule stands discharged accordingly.
