(Via Video Conference) Mr. Arup Krishna Das ...for the petitioner Mr. N.C. Bihani, Mrs. Papiya Banerjee Bihani ...for the State Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The writ petitioner is physically handicapped and aged about 56 years of old. He made an application in April 2013 for a licence to act as a Stamp Vendor in Asansol Court area. The application was declined on May 27, 2013 since the petitioner was about 46 years old.

In terms of G.O. No. 2894 - F.T. dated August 22, 1997, the age limits for licence of stamp vending is 18 to 35 years. The petitioner was 46 years old then. The petitioner made an application afresh on August 24, 2019, which remained unconsidered.

It appears to this Court that the petitioner is 56 years old today. In that view of the matter, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant proceeding.

Hence, WPA 8899 of 2021 is hereby disposed of without any order.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
