Headmaster of Nibra High School, Howrah.

The petitioner, as an Assistant Teacher joined Nibra High School of District - Howrah but resigned from the said post to join as the Headmaster of Chanduli High School of DistrictPurba Burdwan. The petitioner is complaining that in spite of repeated requests, the authorities of his erstwhile school are avoiding fixation of his initial pay under ROPA Rules, 1998.

The authorities of the said Nibra High School since did not appear, this Court by the order dated May 12, 2023, directed personal appearance of the Headmaster and the Secretary of the Managing Committee of the said school.

In compliance with the said direction, Mr.

Pintu Rit, the Headmaster of the said school, appears before me.

He informs this Court that the Managing Committee has become defunct, as such, the

District Inspector of School (S.E.), Howrah, the respondent no.5 herein, has appointed D.D.O to manage the affairs of the said school.

Be that as it may, the Headmaster of the said school has brought the prescribed form approved by the respondent no. 5 fixing the initial pay of the petitioner with revised scale, he hands over the said form and the copy of the first recognition memo of the erstwhile school of the petitioner to Mr. Chaudhuri, learned advocate for the petitioner. Photocopy of the said documents be kept with the record.

The aforementioned development signifies that the grievances of the petitioner have been addressed, as such, no further order(s) need be passed in the present writ petition, accordingly, W.P.A. 7954 of 2023 is disposed of without any order as to costs.

Personal appearance of the Headmaster of Nibra High School, Howrah is dispensed with.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
