Case No. 852 of 2016 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Purba Bardhaman.

The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that since 2016, the case is pending, in spite of a warrant of arrest being issued on June 7, 2017, so far the same has not been executed. The hearing of the case has been adjourned in a routine manner. Having regard to the submissions, as advanced by the learned advocate for the petitioner, this revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Purba Bardhaman, to take actions, if necessary, in terms of the Sections 82 and 83 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, after considering the warrant execution report.

The revisional application being C.R.R. 1013 of 2021 is disposed of.
