1. Affidavit-of-Service filed by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is taken on record.

2. The petitioner alleges that the private respondents have put up illegal construction. Representation in this regard has been given to the Maheshtala Municipality and in response to the representation notice dated 29th May, 2024, has been issued on the private respondents followed by another notice dated 16th August, 2024.

3. Mr. Raghunath Chakraborty, learned advocate, who regularly appears for the Maheshtala Municipality has been directed to accept notice on behalf of the municipality and his appearance on behalf of the Respondent Nos.5 to 8 shall be regularised by the municipality.

4. Since action has already been initiated by the municipality they should earnestly take further course of action in the matter and, accordingly, there shall be a direction to the appropriate authority of the respondent

municipality to take further follow-up action in pursuance to the notice dated 16th August, 2024, issued by the Sub-Assistant Engineer, Maheshtala Municipality after notice to the Respondent Nos.10 and 11 and proceed to take action accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the Respondent Nos.10 and

11. This direction shall be complied with within four weeks from the date of receipt of server copy of this order.
