Mr. S. Kakrania Mr. S. Ganguly Ms. Shreya Goenka ....for the petitioners Learned counsel for the petitioners submits as follows. The petitioners are the husband of the victim and his cousin brothers. They are the accused in an FIR lodged by the de facto complainant in 2019. A charge sheet was submitted in 2020 citing 21 witnesses. Charges were framed on 26.06.2023. But, till date no witness has been examined.

As an application has been made for expeditious disposal of a conclusion of a trial, no prejudice will be caused to anyone, if an order is passed without serving notice on the other side. It appears that the proceeding has remained pending since 2019. More importantly, even after the framing of charge in June, 2023, not a single witness has been examined.

In such circumstances, the learned trial court is requested to conclude the trial in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a year from the date of communication of this order.

With these observations, the revisional application is disposed of. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
