Mr. Sandipan Banerjee, learned Advocate appears on behalf of the Howrah Municipal Corporation. The instant contempt application has been filed for willful and deliberate violation of the order passed by this Court in WP No.5837(W) of 2020 on 10th August, 2020.

It is submitted by Mr. Sandipan Banerjee, learned Advocate for the Howrah Municipal Corporation, alleging contemner Nos.1 & 2 that the Corporation has already complied with the order passed by this Court by effecting demolition of the building.

The petitioner remains absent to contradict the submission made by the learned Advocate for the contemnors.

Accepting the submission made by the learned Advocate for the Howrah Municipal Corporation, the instant application is disposed of taking note of the fact that the order dated 10.08.2020 passed by this Court in WPA No.5837 of 2020 has already been complied with. (Bibek Chaudhuri, J)
