Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the writ petition having been preferred, police authorities had taken steps by way of registration of FIR and subsequently chargesheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional court and the present stage of the case before the learned trial court is fixed for evidence of the witnesses.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report.

As presently the petitioner has no grievance so far as the police authorities are concerned, I direct the learned trial court to take necessary steps by expediting the process of trial and take the trial of the

case to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 8659 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
