Learned counsel appearing for CESC submits that the petitioner was requested to submit certain documents by a letter dated April 9, 2024. However, the petitioner failed to produce the required documents, and consequently, his application could not be processed further.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is unable to furnish the sanctioned building plan but is in possession of other relevant documents. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the petitioner to submit documents demonstrating his possession over the premises in question. CESC shall not insist upon the production of the sanctioned plan if the documents furnished by the petitioner otherwise establish his possession.

Upon submission of such documents, and subject to compliance with other necessary formalities, CESC is directed to provide the electricity connection to the petitioner's premises within a period of thirty days from the date of submission.

Accordingly, WPA 7934 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
