Rejected C.R.M. (A) No. 1063 of 2024 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Jalangi Police Station Case No. 349 of 2023 dated 23.10.2023 under Sections 21 (c)/29 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

1. Heard learned lawyers for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Call Detail Records collected during investigation show telephonic exchanges between the petitioner and the co-accused from whom narcotics were recovered. Investigation is in progress.

3. Custodial interrogation may reveal incriminating circumstances against the petitioner.

4. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
