This is a contempt proceeding arose from an order dated November 14, 2022 passed by this Court in the writ petition.

Today Mr. Amitava Chaudhuri, learned counsel appeared for the alleged contemnor no.1 submitted a Compliance Report dated July 13, 2023, issued by the Treasury Officer, Manbazar, Purulia addressed to the Senior Accounts Officer, Office of the Accountant General (A&E), West Bengal confirmed that, the necessary

amount had already been deposited with the Office of the learned Registrar General of this Court. The said communication dated July 13, 2023 is kept on record. A copy has also been made over to Mr. Lalratan Mondal, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner in Court today.

In view of the above, nothing survives in this contempt proceeding as the direction of this Court stood complied by the alleged contemnors to the extent of the charges of contempt in the instant contempt application. In view of the above, this contempt proceeding, WPCRC 90 of 2023 stands dropped.

The contempt application stands disposed of.

Rule issued in the proceeding stands discharged. Since the proceeding stands dropped, any direction for personal appearance of anybody stands recalled. (Aniruddha Roy, J.)
