The petitioner is not represented.

Learned advocate on behalf of the private respondents is present.

On perusal of the record of the instant writ petition this Court finds that the petitioner is the stepdaughter of the respondent No.6. Originally the father of the petitioner and the husband of the respondent No.6 was the fair price shop dealer. After his death the

respondent No.6 applied for grant of licence of fair price shop under her on compassionate ground. The petitioner being the stepdaughter of the respondent No.6 raised an objection. The said objection was rejected by the competent authority and licence was granted to the respondent No.6. The application of the petitioner was rejected on the ground that the spouse of the deceased dealer gets the first priority for FPS dealership and secondly the petitioner has failed to produce 'no objection certificate' of other family members of the deceased dealer. The said order of rejection passed by the SubDivisional Controller on 31st March, 2022 is impugned in the instant writ petition.

On perusal of the materials on record I do not find any illegality or arbitrariness in the impugned order. No legal right of the petitioner was violated.

Considering such aspect of the matter, I do not find any merit in the instant writ petition and accordingly the instant writ petition is dismissed on merit.
