Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the machineries have been purchased by the petitioners and have already been installed and functional, which have been duly informed by representations dated March 2, 2026 and May 22, 2026.

By an order dated March 10, 2026, the railway authorities have delisted the name of the petitioners from the approved list of the vendors for supply and manufacturing of ERCs. The authorities shall conduct the inspection and the concerned authorities shall take decision for recalling of the order dated March 10, 2026 and to list the name of the petitioners as an approved vendor for supply and manufacturing of ERCs.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 2 or the competent authority to pass appropriate order within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order for approval of the name of the petitioner as an approved vendor for supply and manufacturing of ERCs.

WPA 8355 of 2026 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities.
