Ms. Shubhasree Patel Ms. Debadrita Mondal .....Advocates The petitioner is in custody for 1 year and 8 months. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has not been identified in T. I. Parade by the victim and no recovery has been made from him.

Opposing the prayer for bail, learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner was shown as arrested in the present matter while he was in custody in connection with an earlier case. The photograph of the petitioner has matched with that of the CCTV footage of the place of occurrence collected in course of investigation. Recovery of Rs.50,000/- has been made from the petitioner.

I have considered the material on record. There is sufficient incriminating material against the petitioner prima facie suggesting his active and direct involvement in the alleged offence.

In view of the above, prayer for bail is rejected at his stage.

The application for bail is accordingly disposed of. Case diary be returned.
