For the Petitioner Mr. Arijit Ganguly Ms. Palash Chandra Saha .....For the State Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since April, 2021 and till date only charges have been framed and date has been fixed on 13th December, 2022 for examination of the witnesses.

Mr. Arijit Ganguly, learned advocate appears on behalf of the State. Learned advocate appearing for the State is directed to communicate with the learned Public Prosecutor representing the State in the Court below so that the witnesses are produced on 13th December, 2022. It is directed that all efforts must be taken for ensuring the presence of the witnesses on the dates so fixed by the Learned Special Court. No unnecessary adjournment should be granted to any of the parties. A schedule consisting of three dates must be constituted and at least one schedule must be fixed in a month so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. Learned Special Court is directed to take stern measures and resort to harsher process of law in case without any reasonable excuse any

witness is absent on the date fixed for recording of evidence. The Public Prosecutor conducting the trial would also ensure production of necessary evidences in respect of which the prosecution proposes to rely upon as material exhibits of the case.

With the aforesaid observations, C.R.R. 1414 of 2022 is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of. All parties are directed to act on the server copy of this order downloaded from the official website of this Hon'ble Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
