Petitioner Mr. Prantik Garai Mr. Preetu Chowdhury ... for the petitioner Mr. Bitasok Banerjee Ms. Zarin Khan ... for the State The petitioner is the married sister in law of the deceased victim who had committed suicide by poisoning herself as would be evident from the post mortem report as pointed out by the learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with the case under reference for the alleged offence under Sections 498A/306/34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner along with her daughter are staying at in a separate mess at a distance of 25 Kms from the place of occurrence and that she is no way connected with the offence alleged.

Upon hearing the learned counsel for the parties and in consideration of the submission particularly made on behalf of the State that it is the case of the suicidal death of the victim deceased

and that the husband of the deceased victim is already on bail granted by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Contai the petitioner be admitted on anticipatory bail. We direct accordingly, that in the event of arrest, the petitioner will be admitted on anticipatory bail on furnishing security of Rs.2,000/- and producing personal bond of equivalent amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority and on condition as embodied under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. CRM 3132 of 2021 is disposed of.
