The petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved by the inaction of the police authority, as in respect of information being furnished no steps were taken by the Inspector-in-Charge of Haripal Police Station. Learned advocate for the State submits that four FIRs have been registered in respect of the different disputes between the petitioner and the private respondents in respect of the cases registered by the police authority and submitted charge-sheet.

Learned advocate for the respondent nos. 4 to 10 is also present and denies /disputes the contentions advanced by the petitioner.

Records also reflect that the petitioner on or about 5.1.2023 has entered into a mutual settlement. Be that as it may since the police has already registered cases in the year 2023 and 2024, I am of the view that the police authorities are well aware regarding the nature of the dispute existing between the petitioner and the private respondents. Since the case was registered also in the year 2024, the police authority would ensure no untoward incident results because of inimical relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents.

With the aforesaid observations, W.P.A. 8706 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending applications, if any, is also disposed of. Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.
