Though the petitioner seeks to espouse the cause of the area covered by the Kandi Municipality, there is a personal angle to it and, particularly in view of the statements contained in paragraph 3 of the petition, the petition appears to be driven by personal motive. Without going into the subject-matter of the petition, the same is not entertained. This will not preclude a properly constituted public interest litigation on the matter to be entertained, provided it is not found to be with some other ulterior motive.

WPA 5866 of 2020 along with the interim application stand dismissed as above, without any order as to costs.
