Petitioner complains of unauthorised construction.

State is represented.

Learned advocate appearing for the Corporation submits that, the Corporation officers inspected the premises, found unauthorised construction and issued stop work notice under Section 401 of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, 1980. The Corporation authorities are awaiting

approval for proceeding under Section 400 of the Act of 1980.

In such circumstances, the Corporation having found unauthorised construction, they will proceed in accordance with law with regard thereof. The Corporation having taken steps, as noted above, no further interference is called for. W.P.A. 5878 of 2020 is disposed of.
