Petitioners have informed the Sonarpur Police Station for interference with his possession in respect of his residential house. In spite of the information being received no action has been taken by the police authorities.

Learned advocate for the respondent nos. 8 to 12 submits that the petitioner do not have any title to the property.

Mr. Ahmed, learned advocate appears on behalf of the State.

So far as right, title, interest, possession, nature, character, occupation of a property is concerned, civil court would be the appropriate forum to decide the issue.

However, the police authorities would ensure that there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility and no untoward incident results because of the strained relationship existing between the petitioners and the private respondents.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 8011 of 2025 is disposed of.
