1. CRAN 1 of 2025 is an application for substitution of the deceased petitioner.

2. Death of the petitioner be recorded. Petitioner be substituted as prayed for.

3. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is granted leave to correct the cause title. CRAN 1 of 2025 is, therefore disposed of.

4. CRM(DB)1344 of 2023 is an application for cancellation of bail. Bail was cancelled. Thereafter, the accused received statutory bail. A second police case was registered in view of the accused using the same fake death certificate. There also, the accused obtained statutory bail. A third police case was registered.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits a report which be taken on record.

6. On the basis of their report police case resulted in a charge sheet. The de facto complainant not agreeing with such charge sheet took exception thereto by an application and that exception application is pending consideration before the jurisdictional Court.

7. Police filed charge sheet.

8. The third police case is under investigation.

9. We are not minded to enlarge the scope of present application for cancellation given the subsequent events.
