1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner had a love affair with the victim. However, when the relationship turned down, the victim made statement against the petitioner.

2. The de-facto complainant appearing in person opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the incriminating statement of the victim made before the learned Magistrate as also on the statements of local witnesses. She also relies on the injury report.

4. In view of the statement made by the victim before the Magistrate and the fact that she was a minor, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail.

5. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
