Fulmani Hansda is personally present in Court. It is submitted that petitioners have refused to perform work on rotational basis. In view of a practice followed in all Gram Panchayats that allotment of work is done on rotational basis, the petitioners shall be allotted duties and shall perform the same on rotational basis immediately.

The Pradhan explains that she expected the B.D.O. to submit report as directed by this Court in its order dated February 10, 2021.

The conduct of the Pradhan is reprehensible.

She is warned against repeating the same. The B.D.O., Gazole and the D.M., Malda shall monitor the activities of the Pradhan, inter alia, in allotment of duties to the Supervisors under the Gram Panchayat as a whole.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the D.M., Malda and the B.D.O., Gazole. The report of Pradhan dated March 9, 2021 be kept with the record.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

The personal presence of the Pradhan is dispensed with.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this judgment, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
