Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that the original case diary with her does not contain the charge sheet submitted. She peruses the case diary and submits that the charge sheet was filed in 2018 itself.

The application for anticipatory bail is pending since 2018. The police case is of February 23, 2018 with the charge sheet being submitted in 2018 itself.

The Superintendent of Police will submit a report as to the steps taken in respect of the police case against the petitioner. In his report, he will identify the persons involved in the investigations, the dereliction of duty, if there be any, and the steps taken.

List the application on July 21, 2022 when the report as called for be submitted.
