Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, no explosive substance was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is sought to be proceeded against on the basis of the statement of a co-accused. The coaccused was enlarged on bail by the Jurisdictional Court. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the fact that the police case was of August 29, 2020. The petitioner is absconding since then. Considering the long absconsion of the petitioner in respect of a police case of August 29, 2020 and considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner

therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1970 of 2022 is dismissed.
