1. By this public interest litigation the petitioner seeks an appropriate direction to the 6th respondent/Municipality to take action on his representation received by the Municipality on 31st January, 2022. The allegation in the representation is that the private respondents, namely, respondent nos.8 to 10 are filling up a water body. Though the representation is stated to have been given in January, 2022 it is not clear as to what is the present status. Therefore, it has become imperative for the writ petitioner to give fresh representation along with a copy of this order.

2. In the light of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of by directing the petitioner to give fresh representation along with a copy of this order to the 6th respondent/Municipality. On receipt of the

said representation, the 6th respondent/Municipality shall direct an inspection of the area to be conducted after serving notices to the respondent nos.8 to 10 and the writ petitioner and after hearing the writ petitioner as well as the respondent nos.8 to 10 shall pass a reasoned order on merits in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of the receipt of the representation.
