For the petitioner The petitioner has challenged the order dated 31.1.2023 passed by the ld. Addl. Dist.& Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court, Birbhum, Suri in connection with Criminal Revision Case No.21 of 2021.

The ld. Dist. & Sessions Judge after assessing the materials produce before the revisional court was pleased to arrive at a finding of Rs.4,000/- per month to be awarded to the wife and Rs.2,000/- per month to the minor son. Having considered the parameters taken into account by the ld. Sessions Judge, I am not inclined to interfere with the order so passed.

The petitioner submits that the wife is earning, as such, she may not be awarded with any maintenance. Be that as it may, the petitioner would adduce the evidence in course of the trial rebutting the contention of the wife in respect of her contention relating to her employment.

At this stage, I do not find any ground to interfere with the revisional application as the quantum, so awarded, is a meagre amount.

With the above observations, CRR 1215 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order, duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
