Petitioners Mr. Tapodip Gupta Mr. Golam Ahammed ...for the petitioners Ms. Sonali Das Mr. Subhashis Dutta ...for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case. A coaccused has already been granted anticipatory bail by the learned Sessions Court. Charge sheet has been submitted. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. She submits that this is a case of hurling of bombs causing grievous injury to the victim. There are eyewitnesses to the incident. Reference is made to the injury report and the statements which implicate the present petitioners. It is surprising that no charge has been brought under the relevant provisions of the Explosive Substances Act. However, considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
