Das ... for the defacto-complainant(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for about a year and till date the evidence of the victim has not commenced.

Learned advocate for the defacto-complainant submits that on the last occasion, the defacto-complainant was present, but, an accommodation was sought for on behalf of the accused.

Learned advocate for the State produces the case diary.

The records of the case reflect that there was specific direction upon the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the victim is over. Such order was

passed on 4.02.2026 in CRM (M) 124 of 2026. However, there has been no change of circumstances since then. Having considered the same, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

The learned trial court is directed to ensure that the evidence of the victim is complete within 90 days from the next date fixed before the learned trial court. No unnecessary adjournment be granted to any of the parties. The trial of the case would continue inspite of any resolution of the local bar.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 900 of 2026 is dismissed. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
