Mr. Samim Ahammed Mr. Arka Ranjan Bhattacharya ....for the petitioner Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. This is an application for an expeditious disposal of a proceeding under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The petitioner filed an application on 28.05.2019. Yet, till date the proceeding could not be completed. However, the petitioner and her minor child are getting sum of Rs. 5,000/- as interim maintenance. The proceeding has remained pending for no fault of the petitioner. No prejudice would be caused to anyone if an order is passed without causing serving notice to the other side as a prayer has made only for expeditious disposal of the proceeding. It appears that although the petitioner is getting a sum as interim maintenance for herself and her minor child, the proceeding has remained pending since 2019.

In view of the above, the learned trial court is requested to conclude the proceeding in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a year from the next date of hearing. With these observations, the revisional application is disposed of.
