Heard learned counsels for the parties.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the plot of land owned and occupied by them was acquired by the State Authorities by L. A. Case No. 129/1980-81 and possession of the land was taken on 13th March, 1981. The land is still lying vacant and unutilised. The petitioners pray for de-requisition of the said plot in terms of Memo No. 5560(60)-L.A.(iii)/3M-48/96 dated 22nd May, 1997. The petitioners submitted a representation before the concerned Authority to that effect on 14th April, 2018 which has not yet been disposed of. The petitioners pray for a direction upon the Authority to consider their said representation at the earliest. Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties and material on record, I dispose of the writ petition directing

the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioners on 14th April, 2018 in terms of the aforementioned Memo dated 22nd May, 1997 within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties including the petitioners, in accordance with law.

W.P.A. 6525 of 2018 is thus disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
