1. The petitioner was granted bail by a coordinate Bench by an order dated September 06, 2024, inter alia, on the condition that he shall report to the Officer-in-Charge of the concerned police station once in a week, until further orders. He says that he has been scrupulously complying with all the conditions of bail. He is reporting to the Officerin-Charge of New Alipore Police Station every week. He now seeks relaxation of that condition of bail.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instruction and with reference to the report that was filed on the last occasion, says that on certain occasions, the petitioner failed to report to the police station.

3. Be that as it may, overall it appears that the petitioner has been complying with the conditions of bail. Signed By :

Charge is yet to be framed. Therefore, there is no possibility of an early conclusion of the trial.

4. In view of the aforesaid, we are inclined to relax the condition requiring the petitioner to report to the police station once every week. However, he shall report to New Alipore Police Station once every month, until further orders.

5. All other conditions of bail shall remain unaltered.

6. The application being CRAN 2 of 2024 is, thus, disposed of.

7. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

8. Criminal Section is directed to supply certified copies of this order to the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
